Moving out
Well, I've been living in Logan for about a month now and it's been pretty tight. Definately not the same as going to school while living at home. For one thing there is no shame in getting up at noon or later on the weekends, and then staying in your pajamas until four. Another is that I definately have more of a social life which probably contributes to the staying up a lot later than I should. So yeah school's great. Moving out totally worth cooking for myself and the weekly lecture I get when I call home. And my goodness does this sweet life go on.

Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows
I have listened to that song about fifty thousand times in the past two days. Thank you Rachel for having that on your blog, because I cannot stop singing and dancing to that minute and a half of bliss.
You know music is fantabulous like that, it just speaks to your soul. This is why I am so insulted by the more popular artists who musically speaking, have no talent. Oh sure they're on the radio they make lots of money but seriously why would you sing about getting on with an alien? By the way that is the reason I no longer listen to Katy Perry, what a loser. Sing about something that is, oh I don't know, good. Don't even get me started on Lady Gaga. How do people like these songs? "I love this record but I can't see straight anymore. Just dance" ok nobody likes to dance that much, maybe you should sit down before you pass out and find your self waking up in an ally somewhere.
Wow this post is taking a turn I wasn't going to take, I was really going to talk about Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows. I'm not inlove with anyone, unless you count life, because it freaking rocks! Don't agree? Listen to Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows and you will, but if not life goes on.

August
August has no holidays, but what it lacks in holidays it makes up in birthdays. Yes, August has the most birthdays than any other month, and I know what you're doing it's November. Anyway, August. Too many birthdays, it's the month of my brother's, my grandpa's, my mom's, my other brother's, my brother-in-law's, and several other people. Which rocks for them because like I said there are no holidays so they get there own special little day in a holiday-less month. You know when my birthday is? January 5. Yes it is overshawdowed by the two biggest holidays of the year, three if you count the fact that after Thanksgiving all it seems to be is holidays. I might as well not even have a birthday since my glory of my birth is sucked up by the glory of a new year and of course the birth of Christ. Go figure, there's no competition when you're birth is after that of the Jesus Christ who was sent to save the world.
However, it does not change the fact that I don't get to celebrate anything officially in august besides other people's birthdays. So you know what screw you August birthdays, I'm celebrating the lesser known holidays like August 10, Lazy day. Finally a holiday I think was invented for me. Or National Thriftshop Day which is august 17th, I 'm gonna get me some sweet clothes from the 70's that day, because it also happens to be my mother's birthday who grew up in the 70's. I'm also going to be celebrating race your mouse day on the 28th. Now they are talking about your computer mouse but I'm going to be racing my nonexistant mice that day, but I'll get some, but if not, life goes on.

lyrics
Ok honestly some the pop songs lately have the stupidest lyrics I have ever heard. For example Britney Spears's Womanizer; "Maybe if we both lived in a different world it would be all good and I could be your girl but we can't cause we don't" You don't say, you know if I lived in a different world maybe I could be with Cary Grant. That's the funny thing about living in a different world, anything can happen. These lyrics were the dumbest thing I had ever heard until I heard this little gem in Pink's Raise your glass; "If your too school for cool" does this even need an explanation? How do these songs become hits? The sad thing is that I do actually enjoy these songs, everyone does or most everyone. Still their popularity should not block out the fact that they have the stupidest lyrics I have ever heard, it even beats out Rebecca Black's Friday. Alas these songs still flurish and you know what, life goes on.

Be who are...well maybe not
I have always thought of self expression as a good thing and it is. However, as much as it is a good thing you should be prepared for how people will view you myself included. How hypocritical is that? Anyway, the point is that just because you are"being true to yourself" doesn't mean everyone's gonna appreciate it, myself included, and I wouldn't expect everyone to love who I am. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but honestly do you really want to look/act like a woman when you are in fact a man? Is dressing up a pirate a favorite of yours? I mean that's all good and well and everything, but perhaps if you would like to avoid the strange looks and comments you should move to France. I hear they're pretty down with all that stuff. That is unless you learn not to care what others think of you. So perhaps the lesson is, be who you are, but don't expect everyone to welcome it with open arms, because that is life and no matter what you choose life goes on.

It never changes
My first year of college; I still wait til last minute to do any sort of homework, I still burn effigies of my teachers, and I am still at the same intelligence level. I guess some things never change as my life goes on.

My head is going to explode
I was just in my music and culture class and we talked about the Beatles. I FREAKING LOVE THE BEATLES! I felt like I was going to explode from excitment. In fact, I'm still on this amazing music craze. I do not know anything in the world that makes me this happy. I LOVE music! I feel so inspired when I hear music, like I want to belt it like Aretha and wail. Too bad I'm white. Seriously though, music. I wish that someday somewhere I can contribute to that wonderful world of inspiration. If not, well I'm not sure if it would or not, life goes on.
